Ohio Public Works Commission allocates millions for local road and infrastructure projects

The Ohio Public Works Commission released millions of dollars across the state in the latest round of project funding.

That includes millions for Eastern Ohio road and infrastructure projects.

Some major funding is going into Belmont County, including $800,000 in Martins Ferry for improvements on Beretta and Dutch Hill roads, and $798,000 for a water tower and lead line replacements in Belmont County.

Shadyside is getting $337,000 for roads.

In Jefferson County, Wintersville will receive $493,000 to resurface Cadiz Road from Springdale to Canton Road.

Jefferson County is getting $325,000 for road resurfacing projects, and $250,000 for a bridge replacement on County Road 11.
