A Bronx ex-con was charged with murder Friday in the grisly August slaying of another man whose chopped-up body parts were found stashed in a crockpot inside a Bronx apartment – as well as in a burning shopping cart in Yonkers, cops and sources said.

Muhammad Aadil, 40, was linked to the slaying of Lutalo Henderson, 46, whose severed hands were found sticking out of a bleach-filled crockpot on the kitchen floor of the home on Rogers Place near East 163rd Street in Longwood on Aug. 5, according to authorities and police sources.

A black bag discovered inside the freezer at the time was believed to have held even more remains, sources have said.

A gun and drug paraphernalia were also found inside a bedroom, cops said.

The trail began much earlier that same day when firefighters found a burning cart near the Oak Street Bridge in Yonkers, close to the Mount Vernon border, and a lifeless body on the sidewalk, local authorities said.

Investigators believe two people brought the remains from the Bronx on a Metro-North train, getting off at the Mount Vernon West station in Westchester County, sources have said.

The NYPD could not confirm Friday afternoon whether another suspect was still being sought in connection to the sickening crime.

Police could also not confirm the relationship between Aadil and Henderson, though they lived at the same address.

Neighbors last month described the victim as a long-time resident who “had roommates.”

In addition to the second-degree murder rap, Aadil was also charged with first-degree manslaughter, criminal possession of a controlled substance, concealment of a human corpse, and criminal possession of a firearm, authorities said.

He has 11 total prior arrests, the most recent in 2020 for criminal possession of a firearm, cops said.

Online records show three separate state prison stints for Aadil, all related to drugs, dating back to 2004 – with the most recent sentence spanning from 2015 to 2019.

His parole in that case expired in February of 2023.
