Norwalk’s Infinite Reality inks deal with Google

Infinite Reality, a Norwalk based innovation company focused on digital media, artificial intelligence, spatial computing, and other means of bringing together the digital and real worlds announced on September 5 a five year partnership with Google Cloud to provide a brands solution for the tech giant.

Infinite Reality will help Google Cloud “harness the 3D web and AI to enhance engagement across various sectors, including e-commerce, sports and entertainment, education and customer care.”

“Our partnership with Google Cloud catapults our product roadmap and provides us with the level of infrastructure support that’s critical for scale. Together with Google Cloud and our customers, we are opening doors to exciting opportunities in the immersive web space,” said Co-Founder and CEO John Acunto.

The move is designed to leverage the $35 billion immersive tech market alongside the fact that recent studies showed 92 percent of Generation Z consumers are interested in augmented reality shopping experiences.
