Norma Carol Colvin, 82, of Stow, formerly of Cherry Creek, NY passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Friday, September 20, 2024, in the home of her daughter in Orlando, FL.
Born in Dunkirk, NY on August 3, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Sheldon and Harriett [Dorsett] Hubbard. She was a 1960 graduate of Forestville High School and later a graduate of Jamestown Business College. She worked at the Angola Travel Plaza on the NY State Thruway, the Harkness Feed Mill, and for the Hotel Jamestown. In 1967, she joined her husband in business as proprietors of Colvin’s Keystone Service, and later C. H. Colvin, Inc. – a petroleum distribution and trucking company.
She was a member of the Jamestown Lodge 65 International Order of Vikings, Jamestown Thule Lodge, Celoron American Legion Auxiliary, North Harmony Senior Citizens, Lakewood-Busti Golden Agers, Jamestown Lodge Loyal Order of Moose, and the Lakewood Rod & Gun Club Auxiliary. In earlier years, she was also a member of the Southern Tier Chevy Club, Chautauqua Cruisers, and the Villenova Grange 604.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and hosting family gatherings through the years. She was especially proud of her children, grandchildren, and her new great grandson. She was an avid reader and enjoyed doing puzzles, fishing, boating, and traveling with her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband Charles H. Colvin of 41 years in 2003; her son, Lance G. Colvin in 1994; her brother, Robert N. Hubbard in 2022; and her parents.
She is survived by her daughter Michelle R. [Richard Colvin Foster of Orlando, FL; three grandchildren, Alexandra [Levi] Foster Snyder, Morgan R. Foster, and Zachary L. Foster, all of Orlando FL; and one great-grandson, Maverick D. Snyder of Orlando, FL.
A Celebration of Life Graveside Service will be held in July 2025 at the Cherry Creek cemetery.

This fund, recognizing the Colvin family business community, will serve non-profit and municipalities within the Pine Valley Central School District boundaries.
