WEST BEND — Roots and Branches announced on Thursday that they are accepting nominations through July 8 for the 2024 Business Beautification Awards.
According to the release, the purpose of the awards is to recognize businesses who make a positive impact on the community through taking pride in the presentation of their business.
There are three categories for the Business Beautification Awards, which include:
■ Downtown Business Improvement District (BID)
■ Historic Barton Commercial Area
■ Within West Bend city limits
Any individual or business can nominate a business for the award. To do so, you must email the nomination to Roots and Branches, at rootsbranches@ci.west-bend.wi.us by July 8.
Nomination criteria includes:
■ The exterior space has a positive impact on the community.
■ The business is not currently under construction.
■ The business is located within the West Bend city limits, BID or Historic Barton Commercial Area.
According to the release, residences, government buildings and school buildings are not eligible for this award.
