MARYLAND — The nation’s leading fast-casual seafood restaurant has announced it will be opening five locations in Maryland; a locally sourced, organic cafe with four other Maryland locations will open its first DMV spot this year; and a farm offering eggs, fresh produce, locally raised meat, and more will is about to open for the season.
Captain D’s plans to open its first Maryland fast-casual locations, serving its signature batter-dipped fish, plus grilled items such as shrimp, tilapia and salmon, along with hushpuppies. It will open five sites in Prince George’s County to start.
Uniqlo, a Japanese clothing brand, will open in the former Williams Sonoma space at The Mall in Columbia. Uniqlo has two other Maryland stores in downtown Silver Spring and at Pike and Rose in Bethesda. It sells clothing for women, men and children in workout, casual or formal styles.

Sunny Dreams Farm Offers Fresh Produce, Miniature Animals
Sunny Dreams Farm offers produce, flowers, miniature animal breeding of goats, sheep and pigs for 4-H and FFA projects or personal ownership, plus locally raised honey, pumpkins, mums and eggs, as well as crafts from local vendors. It will open its farm stand for the season April 1, but other items are available year-round.
