New Jersey DOI commits $400m to EQT infrastructure funds

The New Jersey Division of Investment (DOI) has committed $200 million to EQT Infrastructure Fund VI, a vehicle of EQT. It also committed the same amount to a co-investment sidecar. These commitments were made on Nov. 5, according to DOI’s meeting materials.

EQT Infrastructure Fund VI is a closed-end infrastructure fund with a focus in the global market. It will focus on logistics, energy, greenfield, social, infrastructure, telecoms and transportation properties. In 2023, EQT set the fundraising target at €20 billion ($22 billion), with a €21 billion ($23 billion) hard cap.

EQT Infrastructure VI will primarily pursue investment opportunities in Europe and North America and may opportunistically explore opportunities in Asia Pacific.
