ORLAND PARK, Ill. — Top 100 retailer Darvin Furniture & Mattress cut the ribbon for The Marketplace at Darvin, a multi-million-dollar project that the retailer says redefines home furnishings shopping and elevates its customer experience.

“We’re thrilled to introduce this exciting new addition to our showroom that redefines our customers’ shopping experience,” said President Will Harris. “The Marketplace at Darvin was a multi-million-dollar project to offer a curated destination showcasing the very latest furniture trends alongside stylish designer accessories. Whether you’re seeking inspiration for your home or that perfect finishing touch, The Marketplace offers something special for every taste.”

The Marketplace at Darvin offers designer accessories, including kitchen items, holiday decor, vases, candles, tea towels, games, baskets, clocks, bookends and more. Customers will find the latest in furniture trends and accessories, everything from accent pieces like wine racks and bookcases to elevate their style and showcase their distinct home decor. Based on the latest trends, The Marketplace’s offerings will continually be refreshed.

Harris said The Marketplace at Darvin is perfect for creating a custom look for any home. Darvin’s trained design team is available to help customers pick custom furniture colors, upholstery and accent pieces to perfectly complement their style.

“To elevate our customers’ experience, we’re also proud to present Mr. Darvin’s Coffee Shop, located adjacent to The Marketplace,” said Harris. “This charming space provides a welcoming spot to unwind, enjoy a quality cup of coffee and take a moment to relax during your shopping journey.”

Harris was joined by CEO Steve Darvin and Chairman Marty Darvin, and they kicked off the event by welcoming more than 100 VIP guests in attendance, who were encouraged to explore the all-new Marketplace at Darvin’s furniture and designer accessories. The grand opening celebration featured cocktails, Polonia Catering, a DJ and a Nitro Ice Cream station.
