New board members at Louisiana Hospital Association, PRAL

Jude Melville III has been elected as board chair of b1Bank.

Melville is the president and CEO of b1Bank.

Rolfe McCollister Jr. was also elected as lead independent director of the Baton Rouge based bank. 

The Public Relations Association of Louisiana-Baton Rouge has named its new board of directors and officers.

Tracy White, public affairs manager for Cox Communications, will serve as president. She takes over the helm from Erin Fulbright, who will become past president.

Also elected to a two-year term on the board are: Ryan Sinitiere, president-elect; Laura Siu Nguyen, vice president; Bryce Benzine, secretary; Kristen Bellatti, treasurer; Christine Wendling, membership director; Jennifer Tran, communications director (internal); Alannie Broussard, community engagement director; Trey Williams, SPRF representative; Sadie Wilks, APR chair; Ginger Guttner, historian; and Cheryl Michelet, PRAL state representative and member engagement director.

The Louisiana Hospital Association recently announced its 2024-25 Board of Trustee officers and newly elected board members during its annual membership meeting.

Rene J. Ragas, president and CEO of Woman’s Hospital in Baton Rouge, will serve as board chair. He received the gavel from Mary Ellen Pratt, CEO of St. James Parish Hospital in Lutcher, who will serve as immediate past chair. Michele Kidd Sutton, president and CEO of North Oaks Health System in Hammond, will serve as chair-elect, and Edgardo J. Tenreiro, president and CEO of Baton Rouge General, was elected treasurer.

E.J. Kuiper, president and CEO of Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Health System in Baton Rouge, Sean Wendell, CEO of Beacon Behavioral Partners in Baton Rouge, and Kemp Wright, vice president of hospital operations at Priority Hospital Group in Bossier City, were elected as at-large trustees for a two-year term.

Jaf Fielder, president and CEO of Willis Knighton Health in Shreveport, was reelected to serve a second term as an at-large trustee.

Elected to serve a two-year term as district trustees were: central district: Monte A. Wilson, regional market president and CEO for CHRISTUS Health Central Louisiana in Alexandria; northwest district: Scott Prouty, chief operating officer of Allegiance Health Management in Bossier City; and southeast district: Lee J. Chastant III, CEO of West Feliciana Hospital in St. Francisville. Joan M. Coffman, president and CEO of St. Tammany Health System in Covington, was reelected to serve a second three-year term as the northshore district trustee.
