There has been rapid digitalisation of businesses, government entities, and even the daily life of the common man. Technologies have caused a major transformation in the way we communicate. Also, the onset of 5G has only pushed the growth of the communication sector with high-speed internet. However, connectivity is still an area that needs improvement. This is where the fiber infrastructure comes into the picture. RANext, a subsidiary of Space World, has developed the Neutral Network Fiber Infrastructure (NNI) which could prove to be a major catalyst in widening and boosting communication. Sharing light on the subject, Gopa Kumar, CEO, RANext joins Express Computer in an exclusive interview.

RANext holds expertise in making buildings smarter. What is your recent innovation in this domain?

We at RANext have created an innovative and unique preposition of integrated digital and neutral platform that is capable of transmitting and managing a number of IP-based services in a building, thus making a building truly smart. This advancement enhances the building’s digital positioning covering multiple aspects such as its security that allows residents to visually verify visitors before granting access, strategic WiFi hotspots for residents to stay connected throughout the common areas, automated lighting adding to convenience and cost saving, automated vehicle recognition, digital signages, multiple choice of internet operators and many more such customised solutions with centralised control and monitoring by network operating center (NOC). This innovation not only adds an extra layer of security but also enhances convenience for residents and building managers, contributing to an overall smarter and more efficient building ecosystem.
