UNDATED (WKRC) – Netflix announced a new way to experience their properties: a pair of permanent entertainment complexes full of immersive experiences.
Netflix is well known for their temporary pop-up events that allow visitors to step into the streaming service’s TV shows and movies. The company has developed events for a ton of their shows, including Squid Game and Stranger Things. These events typically do very well and drum up a lot of hype online, but only a select few people get to experience them, until now.
Netflix introduced the Netflix House, a permanent entertainment complex coming to the King of Prussia Mall in Pennsylvania and the Galleria Mall in Dallas.
“At Netflix House, you can enjoy regularly updated immersive experiences, indulge in retail therapy, and get a taste — literally — of your favorite Netflix series and films through unique food and drink offerings,” said Marian Lee, Netflix’s Chief Marketing Officer. “We’ve launched more than 50 experiences in 25 cities, and Netflix House represents the next generation of our distinctive offerings. The venues will bring our beloved stories to life in new, ever-changing, and unexpected ways.”
Although the company has yet to disclose what experiences will be available when the Netflix House opens, they mentioned ideas like real life versions of challenges from “Squid Game”, dancing in a ballroom from “Bridgerton”, and shopping at “Stranger Things” exclusive shops.
The company said, “Netflix House will go one step further and create an unforgettable venue to explore your favorite Netflix stories and characters beyond the screen year-round.”
