Netflix Taps Nicolle Pangis as VP of Advertising

Netflix has found a new leader for its North American advertising business.

The streaming giant has hired Nicolle Pangis to be its VP of advertising, overseeing sales for the U.S. and Canada. Pangis was most recently the CEO of the advanced advertising firm Ampersand, where she built that company into a power player in addressable TV.

She will report to Netflix president of advertising Amy Reinhard, who has been building up Netflix’s ad business since taking over the division a year ago. Peter Naylor, who previously served as VP of ads, exited the streamer earlier this year.

“I am so excited Nicolle is joining Netflix,” Reinhard said. “She has a great reputation within our industry, both for the depth of her relationships with clients and partners, and her data-driven approach to streaming advertising. Together, we’ll continue to build and scale a great ads business for our clients and Netflix.”
