U.S. News & World Report recently recognized Providence Queen of the Valley Medical Center as a High Performing hospital in five procedures or conditions – heart attack, heart failure, hip fracture, kidney failure and stroke.

“This is the highest distinction a hospital can earn for U.S. News’ Best Hospitals Procedures & Conditions ratings. A high performing rating indicates a hospital was significantly better than the national average in a given procedure or condition,” said a news release.
Additionally, Queen of the Valley received the American Heart Association’s Get With The Guidelines – Stroke Gold Plus quality achievement award “for its commitment to ensuring stroke patients receive the most appropriate treatment according to nationally recognized, research-based guidelines.”
The medical center was also listed on the AHA’s Type 2 Diabetes Honor Roll for providing quality care for diabetes patients.
