ESCANABA, Mich. (WLUC) – An Escanaba bike shop is getting some upgrades.
Mr. Bike and Ski will add e-bikes to its fleet, update its infrastructure and provide employees with specialized training in suspension systems.
This comes after a $20,000 grant from U.P. State Bank.
Co-owner Adam Haeusler says this will allow them to keep up with competing sporting goods stores. He explains they wouldn’t be able to do any of these improvements without the grant.
“Getting that money to be able to do things, it’s a lot of relief,” Haeusler said. “Coming up with the money upfront to do this stuff and tying up those business dollars is hard, so this helps us. “
Haeusler says visitors can expect these changes in the coming months.
