An application for a new tracker from Motorola, called Moto Tag, has appeared in the FCC database. This tracker may be the first from Motorola to support the Google Find My Device network.
Here’s What We Know
Moto Tag supports Bluetooth LE and UWB connectivity, which provides more accurate tracking than Bluetooth-only trackers. The device is powered by a standard CR2032 battery, which simplifies battery replacement.
Google launched its Find My Device network earlier this year, and several brands have already included their trackers in the network. Although there has been no official confirmation of Moto Tag’s compatibility with Google’s network, Motorola is expected to release a compatible tracker later this year.
There is no official launch date for Moto Tag yet, but Motorola is planning a presentation event on 25 June, where Moto Tag will likely be unveiled alongside the new Razr 2024 foldable phones.
