A MISSING woman who vanished on a last-minute Thanksgiving shopping trip has been found dead, police have confirmed.
The body of Jayna Lang, 46, was located a week after she disappeared in Colorado on November 24.
She texted her brother, Eric Horvat, to say she was going shopping at an outlet mall in Silverthorne, roughly an hour from her home in Littleton.
But when she didn’t show up for work the following week, her boss reached out to her family.
After a week-long search and an appeal from police and loved ones, authorities confirmed the tragic find on Monday.
Jayna was discovered dead on Sunday night, a family member told Denver-based Fox affiliate KDVR.
The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office confirmed to The U.S. Sun that her cause of death was suicide, calling it a “sad update.”
JAYNA’S DISAPPEARANCE
Jayna was last heard from at 11:17 am on November 24, when she texted her brother about heading to the mall.
“She was supposed to be going to Silverthorne to look at the factory shops on Sunday,” her brother said while she was missing.
“Her job called us and said she didn’t show up on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and now nobody has heard from her, talked to her or anything.”
Eric said her disappearance was out of character as she usually talked with her aunt every day but hadn’t been in touch.

Jayna’s sister-in-law
They raised the alarm with police and on November 27, the Park County Sheriff’s Office posted photos of Jayna and her SUV on Facebook, urging the public to call them if they saw her.
The agency and family noted that Jayna loved the outdoors and going out to the mountains.
CAR SPOTTED
At one point, cops got a tip that her SUV was seen driving along nearby Highway 6 driving from Breckenridge to Keystone.
That led her family to worry that she’d broken down or crashed her car and was stranded on the road somewhere.
The search ended in tragedy on December 1, and the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office confirmed the next day that she’d been found.
Jayna’s family had hinted at the sad news in a post before cops’ statement about her death.
