Mexico Public Safety Department arrests suspect in business burglary

A 19-year-old Mexico, Missouri, resident was arrested Friday morning following a break-in at a local business, according to a Mexico Public Safety Department Facebook post.

Officers responded to an alarm at approximately 6:52 a.m. on Friday at a business in the 600 block of West Jackson Street. Upon arrival, they discovered a window had been broken with a rock and multiple items stolen from the premises, according to the public safety department.

After reviewing security footage and tips from community members, authorities apprehended Wyatt J. Bradley around 9:14 a.m. in the 2100 block of Jubel Drive.

Bradley faces charges of second-degree burglary, first-degree property damage and stealing over $750.

Bradley was booked into the Audrain County Jail.
