Here’s a look at promotions, hirings and other noteworthy business events in the Memphis area:

Saint Francis Healthcare announced the appointment of two new directors at Saint Francis Hospital-Memphis and Saint Francis Hospital-Bartlett:

  • Alisa Fish is the Director of Pharmacy at Saint Francis-Memphis. With more than 25 years of pharmacy experience, she comes to Saint Francis Memphis from Mercy Health Lourdes in Paducah, Kentucky, where she served as the Director of Pharmacy, overseeing the 359-bed hospital’s pharmacy and outpatient oncology pharmacy. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree, with honors from the University of Tennessee College of Pharmacy Memphis and completed a Home Infusion specialty residency at Medical Alternatives, a Baptist Memorial Health Care-affiliated home infusion pharmacy in the Memphis area. She is board-certified in Sterile Compounding Pharmacy.
  • Claudia Maine is the Director of Nursing at Saint Francis-Bartlett. Maine has extensive experience in hospital operations and nursing leadership and comes to Saint Francis-Bartlett from Kent Hospital in Warwick, Rhode Island, where she most recently served as the Associate Chief Nursing Officer. She began her nursing career at Kent Hospital as a Cardiac Registered Nurse. Maine earned her Master of Health Administration and Management degree at Salve Regina University in Newport, Rhode Island. She is completing a Doctorate in Health Care Administration at the University of Phoenix.

BVO, the start-up company building its River of Time immersive experience inside the former site of Mud Island’s River Museum, has named local and national industry experts to its first board of advisors. The transformation of the 33,000-square-foot, 18 room Mud Island facility will take place in phases with the first phase opening this summer. Members of the board are:

  • Michael Scarbrough: President and COO, InnovAge; founder and former president of Prospero (now Optum); former CEO, Optum; and past chair of Greater Memphis Chamber’s Chairman’s Circle.
  • Tony Pellicciotti: Managing principal and CEO, LRK, and member of development team for Crosstown Concourse. 
  • Charles Babb: Creative technologist, producer, Meta (Oculus Publishing); and co-founder, The Geekish Network, which supports BIPOC voices in geek culture.
  • Lauren Cason: Co-founder, Refract Studio, and intern of MIT Game Lab.
  • Jeff King: COO, Memphis Museums of Science & History, and former director of operations, Denver Art Museum.
  • Lori Brunson: SVP of Client Services, VML, the world’s largest creative agency, and former co-founder and CEO, RocketFuel.

Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare named Heather Crawford as its new senior vice president and chief nurse executive. With more than 20 years of nursing leadership experience, she will oversee nursing operations and spearhead initiatives to enhance patient and family-centered care across the Memphis-based healthcare system.
