Marigold & Go, located in the Creekwalk shopping center in southwest Colorado Springs, has closed.
The quick-serve lunch and breakfast option was the third location of the Marigold brand in Colorado Springs.
“Big news, Marigold family. As of this Saturday (Feb. 1) we’ll be closing our Creekwalk location, Marigold & Go, to pour more of our love and energy into Marigold Bistro…Thank you for your continued support as we evolve and bring you even more delicious experiences,” the owners wrote in a Facebook post.
Their two remaining locations include the long-time, popular sit-down restaurant, Marigold Café and Bakery at 4605 Centennial Blvd.,and Marigold Bistro at 146 E. Cheyenne Mountain Blvd.
The Creekwalk location, which was open for breakfast and lunch, had been the only location with breakfast, and the first time Marigold had offered breakfast since 2008.
Now, owners Julie and Ghassan Nehme are bringing back the beloved breakfast to Marigold Bistro, formerly Walter’s Bistro, which they purchased in 2023.
There were a slew of responses to the Facebook post including one from Alyce Morgan, “Sorry in some ways but thrilled Marigold will go back to serving breakfast. And also, that there’ll be lunch at the Bistro. Good luck.”
And from Susan Allen Kosar, “I was very sad when I started your post but now am excited that you are expanding what you are doing at Marigolds Bistro. Breakfast and lunch plus dinner, terrific!
