Manhattan Bagel has opened a new drive-thru store in Bucks County.
Manhattan Bagel has opened a new drive-thru store at the Summit Square Shopping Center, writes Jeff Werner for Patch.
The new 3,000-square-foot store at Newtown Bypass and Summit Trace Road features a drive-thru, seating areas inside and outside, elevated catering options, breakfast and lunch options, and an Espresso bar.
In April, renovation work began to transform the former Einstein Brothers Bagels location into the new store. This included the addition of a drive-thru service.
However, Einstein was unable to compete with the drive-thru service, opting to instead close its doors at the shopping center.
Manhattan Bagel is known for offering a wide variety of freshly-boiled and baked New York-style bagels, all of which are made on-site. While bagels are a major focus, the menu also features a number of breakfast and lunch sandwiches, wraps, and fresh-baked muffins and sweets made with high-quality ingredients.
“At Manhattan Bagel, we wake up every morning at 3 a.m. to start your day with a smile and the best bagels outside of New York,” the store’s website reads. “Our NY-style bagels are boiled and baked fresh every day. We fire up our grills to bring you fresh-cracked eggs, sizzling bacon, and made-to-order sandwiches.”
The new location is owned and operated by Ross Gelman, who operates several other locations in the region.
