KANSAS CITY —Law enforcement are investigating another homicide in Kansas City.
Just after 4p.m. Wednesday, police responded to a shooting in the 8600 block of North Boardwalk Avenue, according to KCPD Sergeant Phil DiMartino.
The initial investigation indicates that the shooting followed a verbal dispute in the parking lot. The victim is an adult male and a suspect was detained near the scene.
Authorities interviewed witnesses, collected evidence and are reviewing surveillance footage. Police have not released the identity of the man who died.
