Lubbock business news includes DRIPBaR, Summer Moon, more

Must read

Hello A-J readers!

We had a few recent openings, new signs popping up and a holiday edition coming next week. Let’s look into the highlights.

This week’s openings included: The DRIPBaR Lubbock, 4406 114 St., Suite 200, which offers IV vitamin therapy. It opened on Monday. Summer Moon Coffee, 7530 82nd St., opened on Saturday.

Dates have not been released for the upcoming Silk Head Spa, 11824 Indiana Ave., or Thai Pattaya Thai & Lao Cuisine, 4809 34th St. A sign for the new restaurant stated a grand opening is coming soon at the former vape shop, which used to be Masiso. Sushi Nami, 5015 Milwaukee Ave., Suite 100, will be opening in early December.

Somethings Poppin’, 11804 Indiana Ave., is rebranding as Joyful Poppin’ at a Grand Renaming Party from 3-5 p.m. on Nov. 23. It will continue selling the gourmet popcorn and tins the store is known for, along with candies.

“We’re thrilled to introduce Joyful Poppin’,” said Eva Underwood, manager. “Our new name reflects our commitment to bringing joy to our customers through our delicious treats and exceptional service. We can’t wait to share our new fall hours and holiday gift options with the community.”

Going into next week, it will be Thanksgiving weekend. I hope all of you have a peaceful time. And, if you go shopping next weekend, shop local when possible and be kind to employees. We’ve had more than 80 businesses open this year, along with all the longtime shops, so there are plenty of options.

As always, thank you for reading and supporting the A-J.
