LOUISVILLE — As Kentucky enters the summer months, local McDonald’s restaurants in the Louisville and Lexington areas are looking to hire nearly 1,000 new employees.
Locally owned and operated McDonald’s restaurants in the Louisville and Lexington region provide on-the-job training, schedule flexibility, a fun work environment and a host of benefits available to suit the needs of any candidate. Participating McDonald’s locations allow employees to access discounted McDonald’s items at may McDonald’s in the U.S.
Whether a candidate is looking for a summer job, a side gig, or a career, McDonald’s restaurant jobs have provided the foundation to help drive long-term success for generations.
Since 2015, over 82,500 restaurant employees in the U.S. have enrolled in McDonald’s Archway to Opportunity. Through the Archway to Opportunity program, employees at participating restaurant locations can work toward a college degree program and earn tuition assistance. Additionally, Archway to Opportunity can help employees on a path to success by supporting a high school diploma programs, improving English skills, and help making education and career plans through advisors.

We are proud to provide opportunities in our local communities,” said Emily Kasselmann, who owns six McDonald’s locations in Kentucky. “Not only is it important for us to provide job opportunities for those in our communities, but we know it’s important for individuals to be valued.
