Louise Thomasina (nee Militello) Muccigrosso

Crolle (1924 – 2025) who had lived most of her one hundred years in Silver Creek died on January 21st at her home in Orlando, Florida. Surrounded by members of her family, Louise passed peacefully to be reunited with her daughter Lynn Marie, husbands Francis P. Muccigrosso and James A. Crolle, Sr., her parents Thomas G. and Vincenza (nee Fadale) Militello and all of her siblings and in-laws.

Louise is survived by her children Ann Louise and Chuck Ende of Concord, North Carolina, Elaine Mary Grohol and John Russell of Crossville, Tennessee, F. Paul and Karen Muccigrosso of Lancaster, New York and John Thomas and Melodee Muccigrosso of Orlando, Florida, and the families of Barbara and James O’Connell of Forestville and Carol and James Crolle, Jr. of Westfield. Also surviving Louise are her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Louise was a beloved music teacher in the Dunkirk City School District for more than twenty years before which she taught music in both Orchard Park and Cattaraugus. With her husband Frank, she was also the co-owner of Muccigrosso’s Music Center in Silver Creek for many years. Her community involvement in both Dunkirk and Silver Creek continued even after her retirement and recent relocation to Florida. Louise will be greatly missed by her family and by her many dear and dedicated friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Silver Creek on June 7, 2025 at 10:00 a.m.
