Lily Allen was spotted out shopping for groceries in New York City on Monday after speaking about her profitable OnlyFans business.

The singer, 39, looked casual in a pair of maroon trousers and an oversized green and white striped T-shirt with matching maroon and green trainers.

The British star was laden with bags as she made her way home, carrying a large green and a black tote bag as well as a brown paper bag.

Lily went make-up free for the outing and threw her bright red hair into a messy ponytail.

Lily’s outing comes after she took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to reveal that despite having over eight million monthly listeners on Spotify, she earns more money when she posts snaps of her feet to OnlyFans.

The singer took to the social media sight to slam someone who suggested she had been ‘reduced’ to selling pictures of her feet.

In response to the comment Lily wrote: ‘imagine being and artist and having nearly 8 million monthly listeners on Spotify but earning more money from having 1000 people subscribe to pictures of your feet. don’t hate the player, hate the game.’

She also shared a selection of pictures from the subscription sight, showing off her feet in various poses before linking back to her profile.

She insisted fans shouldn’t hate her money-making ways and admitted her feet pictures now fund a lavish lifestyle.

Lily revealed the amount in her bank account skyrockets after she posts pictures of her newly-pedicured feet.

One person said: ‘It’s a win.’

In July Lily was forced to defend her decisions again, saying it was ’empowering’ after years of being ‘sexualized’ by people from a ‘very young age.’

The pop star who is happily married to Stranger Things actor David Harbour, started the account after being told her feet were ‘highly-rated’ on the internet.

She said the account, which costs just £8 per month to subscribe to, is for a ‘select group of enthusiasts’ who ask her for bespoke photos of her ‘spreading’ her toes.

‘I’m finding this actually quite empowering,’ she said on an episode of her Miss Me? Podcast.

‘Having been very sexualized from a very early age, and literally everybody else in the process profiting from that sexualization, it’s actually really fun to be like, in power and in control of something that I find so silly.’

While OnlyFans is primarily used by people selling adult and X-rated content to subscribers, Lily said she doesn’t see what she’s doing as being ‘sexual.’

She said: ‘I don’t feel like it is sexual – how it is received is another thing altogether.’

While she doesn’t find feet ‘kinky’ herself, she said there is something ‘slightly kinky’ in the ‘power element’ of the transactions.

‘He thinks it’s great. At first he was, like, not turned on, but he was like, ‘Is this a kink for you?,’ she said.

‘And I was like, ‘No, it’s totally not a kink’. But maybe there’s something in the power element of it that’s slightly kinky for me.’

She added: ‘I’m having my day in the sun.’
