WORTHINGTON — The Nobles County Library, 407 12th St., Worthington, is open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday. The Adrian Branch Library, 214 Maine Ave., Adrian, is open from noon to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday, noon to 5 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.

Holiday closures: Saturday, November 9th: The Adrian and Worthington libraries will be closed Nov. 9 and Nov. 11 in observance of Veterans Day. The Adrian and Worthington libraries will close at 5 p.m. Nov. 27 and be closed Nov. 28 through Nov. 30 in observance of Thanksgiving.

Books for adults: “Hope Unburied” by Kimberley Woodhouse, “The President’s Lawyer” by Lawrence Robbins, “Identity Unknown” by Patricia Cornwell, “The Mistress and the Key” by Ben Mezrich and “The Last One at the Wedding” by Jason Rekulak.

Large print books for adults: “Identity Unknown” by Patricia Cornwell and “The Amish Matchmakers” by Beth Wiseman.

Audiobook: “By Any Other Name” by Jodi Picoult.

Books for youths: “A Mouse Family Christmas” by Deborah Underwood, “A Moving Story” by Tom Booth, “At our Table” by Patrick Hulse and “Plants vs. Zombies: Zapped” by Paul Tobin.

Youth programming at Worthington library

After School Programs: Stop by or call the library at (507) 295-5340 to sign up your children. Children are responsible for their own ride to and from the library.

Monday: Wii U/XBox gaming (grades 4-9), 3:15 to 4:45 p.m.

Tuesday: Kids Club (grades K-5), 3:30 to 4:45 p.m.

Wednesday: Story Time (toddlers-preschoolers), 10 to 11 a.m.; Just Gurlz (girls grades 5-9), 3:15 to 4:45 p.m.

Thursday: Kids Club (grades K-5), 3:30 to 4:45 p.m.

Happening at the Worthington library

Oct. 28: Friends of the Library Book Club meets from 6 to 7 p.m. to discuss the book, “Saving Emma” by Allen Eskens. All are welcome!

Nov. 12: Doug Ohman presents “Living the Dream — Historic Homes of Minnesota”, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., Ecumen Meadows, 1801 College Way, Worthington.

Art Club: Art Club meets at 5:30 p.m. on the fourth Monday of each month. There is no cost to join and all are welcome!
