WORTHINGTON — The Nobles County Library is now open from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday in its temporary location, 1106 Third Ave., Worthington. The library is closed Saturdays and Sundays. The Adrian Branch Library, 214 Maine Ave., Adrian, is open from noon to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday, noon to 5 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.
Upcoming holiday closures: Both libraries will close at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 31 and be closed Jan. 1 for New Year’s Day. The libraries will also be closed Jan. 20 for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.
Please note: The Nobles County Libraries (Adrian and Worthington) are not accepting donations of items until further notice. Please do not leave donations outside of the building or put them in the book drops.

Entrance: 1106 Third Ave. Please use the entrance on the south side of the Southwestern Minnesota Opportunity Council building, the door closest to 11th Street.
The Book Drop: Please continue to use the book drops at the library’s original location (407 12th Street). The outside book drop will soon be moved to our new location and the book drop in the back of the library will soon be closed.
Youth happenings in the children’s department
Entrance: 206 11th St., second door to the south.
Hours: Noon to 5:30 p.m. Monday and Tuesday; 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday; 9 a.m. to noon Friday. Closed Saturday and Sunday.
After school programs: These will resume in early January.
