The Allegany-Limestone girls soccer team spent the majority of the year near the top of the state rankings and it was evident they belonged with a dominant run to another Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division 1 title.

In claiming another league title the Gators are once again well represented on the Division 1 All-Star teams with a league-leading four selections. Carrying the brunt of the offensive responsibilities senior Cait Kellogg earned First-Team spot after leading the Gators with 28 goals and nine assists in 20 games this year, fellow senior Addie Fisher added another 11 goals and 12 assists on the First Team, senior goalkeeper Chloe Baker conceded just 12 goals on 109 shots for 97 saves this year as she recorded 10 clean sheets for her First-Team selection and junior Madison Honeck earned the final spot after providing 15 goals and 16 assists for the Gators this year.

Allegany-Limestone also earned three Second-Team selections in senior Moira Walsh, senior Abby Peck and junior Carley Barrey and the team’s Individual Sportsmanship Award went to Addie Fisher.

The only team to knock off the Gators this season was Falconer/Cassadaga Valley/Maple Grove and the Golden Cougars did it in the regular season to earn second in the division, but saved the more important victory to take home a sectional title this year. A pair of sophomores led the offense as Kylie Kress led with 24 goals and 12 assists up at forward and midfielder Julianna Roth provided another 19 goals and 10 assists to go along with her tremendous all-around play, and senior Natalie Dossey scored two goals and two assists playing any position on the field to round out the three First-Team All-Stars for the Golden Cougars.

Falconer/Cassadaga Valley/Maple Grove added three more girls to the Second Team in sophomore Ellyson Baglia, and juniors Mary Lundmark and Madilyn Seastrum, while the team’s Individual Sportsmanship Award went to Lily McPherson.

Spoiling the Golden Cougars’ chances of earning a share of the league title was the Southwestern Trojans finishing in third place and they earned another three First-Team All-Stars. Leading the Trojans from the midfield before her injury late in the year was senior Kaylyn Carnes with 16 goals and 11 assists, sophomore Marlana Cresanti matched Carnes’ totals of 16 goals and 11 assists and junior forward Avery Johnson also scored 16 goals with nine assists to close out the Trojans’ representatives on the First Team.

Southwestern added another three girls to the Second-Team in sophomore defender Kenzie Rogers, senior midfielder Emma Malmstrom-Jouannet and junior midfielder Lucy Brown, while the team’s Individual Sportsmanship Award went to Ellie Pearson.

Fredonia received a pair of First-Team selections in freshman Cecelia Tonelli after leading the team in scoring with 14 goals and five assists and sophomore goalkeeper Naomi Muck who made 197 saves with an .814 save percentage and 2.83 goals against average on top of a pair of clean sheets.

Fredonia also added seniors Piper Walnicki and Haylee Babar to the Second Team, while Mariella Russo was the Team Sportsmanship Award winner.

Jamestown rounded out the First-Team All-Stars with senior Madison Burgess who scored three goals and three assists. Red & Green senior Kaylee Leeper earned a Second-Team spot and Kate Kathman earned the Individual Sportsmanship Award.

Olean senior Emma Edwards rounded out the league’s Second-Team All-Stars, while Chloe Stitt was the Individual Sportsmanship Award winner and the Huskies took home the League Sportsmanship Award.
