ZANESVILLE, OH –The Colony Square Mall is ready for the hustle and bustle of the holiday season.
So far, the season has been successful for the mall. There have been festive events throughout November and December along with craft shows to engage the community and showcase local businesses.
Colony Square Mall General Manager Jessica Brailer would like to encourage everyone to stop by.
“This holiday season has been amazing here at Colony Square Mall. We are seeing more vendors than ever. There’s a full common area this weekend and we would like to invite everybody to the Holiday Craft and Vendor show. We have about 50 local vendors that will be setting up, so there’s going to be something for everybody.”
The Colony Square Mall has extended its hours on the Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday leading up to Christmas Eve, giving shoppers the opportunity for last-minute purchases. The mall won’t be open on Christmas Day, but you still have time to shop for gifts.
“Last minute shoppers just remember to keep it holly, jolly and fun. You are going to experience some crowds, but that’s all kind of the fun festivities of the season so just keep it light and fun,” Brailer said. “Be patient with your cashiers and salesclerks and remember that we’re all here to celebrate the season together.”
Brailer would also like to remind everyone that there’s still a chance to meet Santa. He will be at the mall and his full schedule can be found on their website. Santa isn’t the only special guest; Queen Elsa will be making an appearance on Saturday, December 21st, from 1-3 p.m. For more information on Santa’s schedule, Queen Elsa’s appearance, or last-minute shopping, please visit Colony Square Mall’s website.
