Kroger owes me $82 after overcharging me again – my boycott starts today

A KROGER customer has begun boycotting the grocer after being overcharged repeatedly.

Despite being issued an apology, the customer vowed to shop elsewhere and called for others to do the same.

Kroger shopper Geneva Dixon-Connors publicly aired her grievances with the grocer after consistently experiencing issues with her online orders.

She shared the situation in a Facebook post from late June, accusing Kroger of owing her $82.01.

Connors explained how she orders at least $85 worth of groceries weekly, which are delivered to her brother.

However, she realized upon closer inspection that multiple orders were not fulfilled correctly.

“Kroger has scammed me of something every time,” she fumed. “I had to do an audit and I was outraged to find out how they overcharged or left an item out!

“Imagine how many people they have done this to and they have no clue!!”

Shoppers can pay $6.95 for delivery within two hours.

Those who need something quicker can get items in as little as 30 minutes.

Orders must be a minimum of $10 to get quicker delivery.

Customers can save $15 on their first delivery order of $75 or more

The shopper sent out a word of warning to Kroger saying she would ask all her Facebook friends to boycott the store.

“I’ve talked to representatives, supervisors, and the finance department! You have until 3 pm to reach out to me!” she threatened.

KROGER’S RESPONSE

Kroger quickly addressed the situation, leaving an apologetic comment.

“Hi there Geneva! We’re very sorry to hear this. Thank you for bringing this to our attention,” wrote the grocer.

Kroger requested that Connors privately message the grocer and send over details such as the rewards card number she used at checkout.

However, the grocer’s efforts were unfruitful.

The shopper updated the Facebook thread, sharing that she had messaged Kroger but the grocer didn’t resolve the issue.

“Boycott starts today!!!!” she wrote, as her fellow Facebook users readily vowed to avoid Kroger.

One shopper noted they were “up for a good boycott” as another said they were interested in boycotting because Kroger had created food deserts by moving all the stores outside their city’s limits.

A third shopper said they were similarly scammed by Kroger and were happy to support the boycotting efforts.

“I was just about to order some groceries too… guess I’ll be going to Meijer,” said yet another eager boycotter.

Others mentioned how they were already avoiding Kroger.

“I stopped shopping at Kroger’s years ago. They are horrible!” commented one.

Kroger customers have vowed to boycott the grocer for other reasons as well.

Some shoppers said they would boycott Kroger after its move to quietly increase the fee on a common customer transaction.

One Kroger customer blasted the self-checkout “future” and vowed to boycott the chain for Publix over a cashier policy.
