Juline “Judy” Kinder Jones
MAYVILLE- Juline “Judy” Kinder Jones, 97, of Mayville, NY, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, November 4, 2024, with family at her side. She was born March 29, 1927, in Mayville, NY, the daughter of the late Irving and Neva Caswell Kinder
Judy was a 1945 graduate of Mayville Central School. She had worked as an Assistant Cashier for Chase Bank in Mayville.
She was a member of St Paul’s Episcopal Church in Mayville, the past Matron of the Eastern Stars at the Peacock Lodge in Mayville, a member of the Chautauqua Fire Department Auxiliary for which she was also an honorary lifetime member and had been named “Member of the Year” in 2000. Her favorite pastime was spending time with her family.
Judy is survived by her two children, Karyn Fahey of Geneva, FL, and William (Michele) Jones of Mayville, NY, eight grandchildren, Ginger White of Blaine, Washington, Daniel (Audra) Fahey of Lakeland, TN, Kevin (Sheri) Jones of Raleigh, NC, Brian Jones of Raleigh, NC, Elizabeth Guzzetta of Hamburg, NY, Kara (Albert) Dunn of Chardon, OH, Scott (Trisha) Olson of Mayville, NY, and James Murray of Jamestown, NY, sixteen great grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred F. Jones, whom she married May 11, 1946, a daughter, Carolyn Murray, a son in-law, Donald Fahey, a grandson in-law, William White, and a sister, Lenore Cash.
There will be no services held at this time. A memorial service will be held in the future at the convenience of the family and will be announced.
