Josephine M. Farnham
She was born in Women’s Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. Jo was one of six siblings. She has three brothers and two sisters. Jo was known as (Peg) by her family. She was a veteran of four years, active duty, in the US Air Force. Jo worked for the Cassadaga Valley Elementary School System for 21 years. Her last place of employment was for WAL-MART of Fredonia. This was for about 22 years. Jo made many lifelong friends with the people for whom she met. Jo touched many people’s hearts and souls and always had a smile and warm heart.
Jo was a devoted wife, mother and loving sister. Our son Paul told his mother that she was the most wonderful and loving mother a man could ever have. Jo will be missed by all the people whose lives she’s touched. May God bless everyone whom Jo knew and loved. We will all miss you.
Jo is predeceased by her Father Gerald Thompson Sr. and Mother Marie (Rasch) Thompson of Lancaster County, PA.
Friends and family are welcome to attend a Celebration of Life for Jo at the Tri-Parish Church in Brocton, NY on June 8, 2024. A brief visitation will begin at 4:30 p.m. lasting until 5:30 p.m. when the Memorial Service begins. A fellowship meal to follow.
