The Jamestown Area Chamber of Commerce announces it is accepting nominations for its community awards, which will be presented at the Annual Chamber Banquet on Jan. 23.
Nominations are sought in three categories: Young Professional of the Year, Above & Beyond Award and Outstanding Citizen of the Year. These awards honor individuals who have gone the extra mile to make a positive impact in Jamestown.
- Young Professional of the Year: managed by the Young Professionals of Jamestown, this award celebrates a young leader (40 or younger) who has helped to connect, inspire and empower other young professionals in our community.
- Above & Beyond Award: This award recognizes an individual for exceptional leadership and dedication in the business community, going above and beyond their regular responsibilities to better Jamestown.
- Outstanding Citizen of the Year: This is the chamber’s most prestigious award, honoring someone who has made significant, lifelong contributions to improving the quality of life in Jamestown.
In addition, the Business of the Year award will be selected from the 2024 Business of the Month winners, highlighting a company that has shown outstanding business practices and community involvement.
