If Christmas is the most important holiday of the entire year for you, then it’s never too early to begin shopping for decorations and other goodies. And starting Sept. 5, ’tis the season with the grand opening of the KARM Stores Christmas shop in Knoxville.
The annual popup store will open for the 2024 season at noon Sept. 5 at 5425 Clinton Highway, Knoxville, the same location it used last year.
The popular KARM Christmas store attracts people every year from several different states with its selection of discounted ornaments, wreaths, decorations, dishes, sweaters. trees, stockings and toys.
In addition to helping people prepare for their favorite holiday, everything that is donated to and sold by KARM Stores aids Knox Area Rescue Ministries in providing meals, shelter and assistance to people struggling with homelessness.
The Christmas store began as an offshoot of the ministry’s regular thrift stores more than a decade ago. KARM collects Christmas-related items donated throughout the year, setting them aside to stock the seasonal popup store once it opens.
When will the KARM Christmas store be open this season?
The KARM Christmas store will be open noon-9 p.m. Sept. 5. After that, the store’s regular hours will be 9 a.m.-9 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
