BRIETUNG TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WLUC) – Breitung Township Public Works is asking East Kingsford residents to fill out an income survey.

The survey will help the public works department access funds to remove lead pipe fitters and outdated water lines. The money could also be used to establish a well for the East Kingsford water system.

Breitung Township Public Works Superintendent Jay Davis said he hopes the public gives their full support.

“The public works is always just working diligently to do the best we can to keep up with the system and we would hope everybody will team up with us and help us improve the E.K. water system,” Davis said.

The surveys were mailed to residents July 8.
