Idaho Seeks Consulting Services for National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Program

Must read

BOISE – The Idaho Governor’s Office of Energy & Mineral Resources, in collaboration with the Idaho Transportation Department and the Idaho Department of Environmental Quality, has issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) for consulting services to support the Idaho National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) Program.

Following the completion of Idaho’s Siting, Feasibility, and Access Study (SFAS), which determined site locations for the NEVI Program, the state is moving forward with Round 1 of funding. This initial round will finance the establishment of one electric vehicle charging site each in Pocatello, Bliss, and Lewiston. Future rounds of funding will focus on additional locations identified in the SFAS and will incorporate insights gained from Round 1.

The state is inviting qualified and experienced firms to submit proposals detailing how they can assist with the implementation of the Idaho NEVI Program. The RFP and detailed scope of services are available on the Idaho Transportation Department’s Business Services website under the “Consultant Agreements” section. A pre-proposal meeting will be held virtually on August 27, 2024, at 11:00 AM. Proposals must be submitted electronically by September 23, 2024.

The Idaho NEVI Program is part of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, aimed at developing a nationwide network of interconnected electric vehicle chargers.
