I Serve With Joy is working to bring the community together this February by hosting a Joy Market Valentine’s Edition and a Gift-Wrapping for a Cause event.

These two initiatives aim to support mothers in the Lowcountry while also creating opportunities for locals to shop, give and give back to their community.

According to I Serve With Joy, the market will feature a variety of local vendors offering handmade crafts, vintage items, unique gifts, food, and more.

“There’s something for everyone at The Joy Market – women, children, men, and even teachers. Shop local, support small businesses, and enjoy talented vendors with prices starting at just $10. Plus, we’re bringing back our beloved gift-wrapping service because the community fell in love with it during the holidays. Don’t miss these opportunities to give back and help us continue our great work in the community,” said Joy Campbell, Executive Director of I Serve With Joy.

The market will be held on Feb. 8 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Citadel Mall. Gift-Wrapping for a Cause however, will be available from Feb. 5 to Feb. 14 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Citadel Mall Belk Wing.

Gift Wrapping for a Cause offers to take the stress of wrapping gifts off of your shoulders while also offering the opportunity to support essential programs for single mothers.

They offer to wrap gifts, whether it’s chocolates, teddy bears, balloons or custom-sized packages, with proceeds going toward supporting women in the community.
