Video of a woman shopping for an outfit identical to the one she is wearing has gone viral, sparking a wave of laughter online.

TikTok user Ahri Findling (@theycallmeahri) shared the hilarious footage, racking up an impressive 502,300 likes and a jaw-dropping 10.2 million views.

“My wife has no clue what she’s currently wearing,” he wrote as text over the video, which shows her confidently picking out a blue and white striped sweater and jeans—a perfect match to her current outfit.

“She crazy,” he captioned the post, setting the internet off in a fit of laughter.

The iconic Breton stripe, with its navy and white horizontal bands, began as a French naval uniform in the 1850s, each stripe symbolizing a Napoleon victory.

Its simple yet striking design was later popularized by fashion icons like Coco Chanel, evolving into a timeless staple. Today, the Breton top is celebrated for its versatility, easily pairing with jeans for a casual look or layered under blazers for a polished touch.

Research carried out by Flowcode indicates that 55 percent of U.S. consumers now favor shopping online.

But, interestingly, 57 percent of Gen Z shoppers still shop in store once a week, compared to 59 percent of millennials.

This underscores how in-store experiences remain vital even in a digital era, where many people still enjoy seeing and touching products first hand. And in this case, it enables the shopper to check that an item of clothing is exactly the same as one they already have.

Viewers flooded the comments section, reveling in the relatable moment.

“Didn’t need a Google image search to confirm those are entirely different,” joked Google.

“The one she is holding obviously has 2 extra neck stripes… totally different look!” added another.

One user quipped: “It’s like watching a cartoon character buying new clothes.”

Another chimed in: “Why hasn’t nobody talking about how different the cuffs are?”

And one more amused viewer guessed: “She’s getting that one for you.”

“They are clearly very different,” said Adam.

“It’s like the belts scene in the Devil Wears Prada,” said another user.

“Idk man, I’ve been married a long time: those are two different shirts. Similar but still different,” said another viewer.

“You can NEVER have enough striped tops!!!!,” said another viewer.
