Greg Orcutt poured in 26 points as Dunkirk held off Falconer 52-51 for a Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division 1 victory on Monday.

Malik McCall’s final layup put the Marauders ahead for good and K’Vion Tell sealed the deal at the charity stripe. Avery Krystofiak followed Orcutt with 11 points and McCall had 7 for Dunkirk (1-1, 1-0).

Roger Markham scored 31 points for the Golden Falcons (2-2, 1-2), but it was not enough to steal a win on the road.

JACOBSON LEADS EAGLES ATTACK

MAYVILLE — Nick Jacobson scored 22 points and had four steals to lift Chautauqua Lake past Sherman 47-37 in Division 2.

Nate Henry added 16 points, six rebounds, three assists and three steals for the Eagles (1-2, 1-1) and Brendan Klossner had eight rebounds.

Sherman (1-3, 0-2) was led by Logan Swan with 11 points.

Brink hit three 3-pointers, while Bryce Hinsdale rained in four triples for the Panthers (2-0, 2-0) in the victory.

Maple Grove (0-3, 0-1) was led by Aiden Dahlberg with 17 points.
