A Peoria shopping center that has been family owned and operated for 54 years is up for sale.
The Metro Centre, which is located at 4700 N. University Street, is listed for sale.
Anchored by both local businesses and chain stores, the 166,290-square-foot Metro Centre has for years been one of Peoria’s healthiest shopping centers.
It was first opened in 1972 by Marvin Goodman and is now run by his grandson Eric Brinker.
When reached by the Journal Star, Brinker declined to comment at this stage.
There was no sale price listed for the Metro Centre.
