This may be a blasphemous idea, but is it possible that Amelia Dimoldenberg has more chemistry with Harris Dickinson than she does with Andrew Garfield? Sorry! Hear me out. The Babygirl actor’s Chicken Shop Date episode just dropped, and in it, he and Dimoldenberg have an easy, goofy banter that’s free from the pressure of millions of people thinking they should date.
Now, unfortunately for Dimoldenberg and those of us with a penchant for daydreaming, Dickinson is in a long-term relationship with the musician Rose Gray. That didn’t stop these two from having what looks like the most fun Chicken Shop Date of all time. Did any of you Dickheads know he could be this silly? He is in such serious films that I was unaware of this side of him. Take, for example, the moment when Dimoldenberg asks him to act like he’s just been dumped. Dickinson makes what can only be described as a monster noise while fake-lunging toward Dimoldenberg. Dimoldenberg immediately cracks up, which is not easy to make happen.
The real pièce de résistance comes at the end of the episode, when Dimoldenberg tries to down an entire glass of milk in homage to Babygirl. It is basically one straight minute of the two of them laughing, with Dimoldenberg eventually being brought to tears. With all due respect to Andrew Garfield, she was not giggling that hard when he finally made it to the chicken shop.
