Schneider Electric has been chosen to provide uninterrupted power supply as-a-service (UPSaaS) to the Greater Shepparton City Council.
The four-year agreement will see the council transition from a capital expenditure model to a recurring service solution where Schneider Electric oversees the assets in place over their lifecycle.
The UPSaaS offering aims to ensure Greater Shepparton City Council has access to continuous power for its services despite outages, power surges or other disruptions.
Schneider Electric will assume the responsibility of maintaining and overseeing the council’s assets, offering a dedicated customer success manager.
“Thanks to this partnership with Schneider Electric, we can prioritise activities and resources to help Council thrive – which will ultimately help us focus on moving the needle for our wider community,” said Greater Shepparton City Council’s director of corporate services, Chris Teitzel.
Schneider Electric’s VP of power systems and services James Hunt said “we are excited to work with Greater Shepparton City Council and offer a modern approach to maintaining infrastructure and systems, without worrying about capital expenditure and power supply disruptions.”
“This new partnership demonstrates Schneider Electric’s commitment to building innovative solutions to help customers meet their business goals for sustainability and efficiency.”
