Must read

Ahead of the official launch, a video showing Google’s forthcoming Pixel 9 in Pink has come to light. It gives us a sneak peek from several viewpoints including its display. The Pixel 9, with its matte finish on the aluminium body, boasts an elegant yet contemporary appearance. A larger display promises better resolution than the previous models, while hardware upgrades ensure a faster, smoother user experience.

The Made By Google event, scheduled for August 13, is highly anticipated as it is expected to further unveil the new Pixel lineup’s features and upgrades. Initial visuals of the Pink Pixel 9 were released on July 2, though the screen was not operational. More recent leaks, however, reveal a screen with high resolution, clear display quality, and vibrant colors. Tech enthusiasts are understandably excited by these revelations.

The Pink Pixel 9 is designed in line with earlier models. It has a punch-hole screen and a flat non-changing internal interface.

The single speaker grille, USB Type-C port, a SIM card slot, and volume and power buttons are conveniently located on the device’s sides. With two camera lenses and an LED flash, sharp images are easily achievable. Additional highlights include IP68 water and dust resistance, a power-efficient chipset, a powerhouse battery with fast-charging, and a handy fingerprint sensor at the back.

While there is much anticipation and speculation regarding the Pink Pixel 9, it is prudent to reserve judgment until the official unveiling at the Made By Google event. Expectations are high regarding camera upgrades and the rumoured OLED display. Leaks also suggest an improved battery life with the Pixel 9.

The Pink Pixel 9 has, according to leaks, hit the Algerian market already. The Made By Google event is not only expected to officially present the Pixel 9 but also introduce the Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL. Other devices, like Pixel Watch 3 and the next-gen Pixel Buds, are also predicted to be revealed during this anticipated event.

In the lead up to the Pixel launch, Google is believed to have completed the custom design of the Tensor G5 SoC for the upcoming Pixel 10. Rumours also point towards the debut of the Pixel 9, loaded with a new and improved ‘Google AI’ suite of features. As we wait for August 13, there is no telling what further leaks may reveal about the next generation of Google’s innovations.
