Must read

Google is gearing up for its big event tomorrow, where we are expecting the company to unveil a slew of devices. The Made by Google 2024 event will revolve around hardware and the Gemini AI initiatives, unlike the Spring event, which was mainly about software. The upcoming Pixel 9 lineup seems to be the highlight for reports and speculations that have already given away quite the details. The latest smartphone series is not the only primary product to be revealed, as we expect the Pixel Buds Pro 2 to be launched alongside. While we have had sparse details on the wireless earbuds till now, a last-minute leak gives some significant insights before the big reveal.

With the Made by Google event 2024 scheduled for tomorrow, the latest leak reveals the Pixel Buds Pro 2 specs before its launch

Google is working arduously to establish itself in the wireless earbuds category by bringing some significant advancements to the Pixel Buds Pro 2 to take on the competition. While the company’s big reveal does not have much suspense, given the number of leaks that have emerged, giving away major details, the Pixel Buds Pro 2 remains a mystery with the bit of information we have had about it until now. A last-minute leak is here to take away the little left for imagination.

Previous reports suggested that the Pixel Buds Pro 2 would be bringing some new color options, sticking to a similar case as the predecessor with some design changes attributing to the potential increase in price. Now a tipster, @Mystery Lupin, has shared on X the specification of the Pixel Buds Pro 2, and the one that grabbed our attention primarily is the first Tensor A1 audio chip coming to the earbuds that will help deliver twice the active noise cancellation as the original Pixel Buds Pro.

With the Pixel Buds Pro, users were not happy with the active noise cancellation feature and suggested it was rather poor. Google is working on the previous complaints, and changing the strength this time around would mark a significant improvement. A custom-built Google chip for the earbuds would be added, but other than this, there is little information available.

Google is also working on improving the fast pairing system as the leak reveals the company’s efforts to bring a seamless experience across other Pixel devices by improving the connectivity with multiple devices. The battery life is left in the air as to whether it would be an upgrade or downgrade, for there is no information on whether the details laid out are with ANC enabled or not. As per the source, the Pixel Buds Pro would have 8 hours of battery life for wireless earbuds, and the case would be packed with 30 hours of battery.

Additionally, the Pixel Buds might come with some new features, such as the twist to adjust the stabilizer wing, which would improve the fit and comfort of the earbuds. There would also be a Pixel Buds app to help maintain a healthy volume by keeping track of loud music. More features will be unpacked at the event tomorrow, so stay tuned.
