BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — A tip from Google that someone uploaded dozens of videos allegedly showing child pornography led to the arrest of a Boynton Beach man.
The Palm Beach County Sherrif’s Office (PBSO) took Kerri Ali into custody Thursday following an investigation that began in January when the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) passed along the information.
According to Ali’s probable cause affidavit, Google detected 54 videos suspected of depicting sexual abuse of children and alerted NCMEC. The search giant identified the photos were in a Google Photo account under the name “kerry ali.”
The data also reportedly included a birthdate that matched the suspect’s as well as phone numbers and email addresses.

After getting a search warrant for Ali’s Googe account, the PBSO investigator found 63 files that would be considered child pornography as well as pictures of Ali, the affidavit stated.
In all, Ali was booked into the Palm Beach County jail on 30 counts of possession of child pornography.
