Google selects St. Louis-based Hire Henry for 2024 Founders Fund

This year’s 20 recipients for the “Google for Startups Founders Funds” were announced June 25 and Dr. George Holmes, founder of Hire Henry, is one of them.

Hire Henry, based out of St. Louis, develops artificial intelligence-powered robots for industrial applications.

Founders Funds is designed to help “level the playing field” for entrepreneurs of underrepresented communities and it’s been handed out annually since 2020 in the United States. They have also helped startups in Africa, Brazil, and Europe. During this time, more than $50 million have been handed out to Black and Latino founders around the globe.

Each founder receives $150,000 non-dilutive cash awards, $100,000 in Google Cloud credits, Google experts across AI and sales hands-on mentorship, and mental health resources to help grow their business.
