Google is extending Quick Share on Android with QR codes to make file sharing even faster and more convenient. Quick Share, formerly known as Nearby Share, quickly transfers files between devices using Bluetooth.
Here’s What We Know
The new Quick Share with QR Codes option will allow users to share files by scanning specially generated QR codes. This will save time and effort, especially when other connection methods are not effective. Note that Samsung has previously used QR codes in its Quick Share app.
The release date of the update has not yet been announced.
