Google LLC was hit with a proposed class action alleging the tech giant collected and monetized personal information about users’ disabilities via the California Department of Motor Vehicles website.

The company used its Google Analytics and DoubleClick services, both embedded throughout the DMV website, to obtain personal disability information without users’ consent, according to the complaintfiled in the San Jose division of the US District Court for the Northern District of California on May 24.
