Smashing Grapes Fuses Global Wines With Locally Sourced Cuisine
Smashing Grapes opened in the Merriweather District last month, bringing global wines paired with locally sourced cuisine to Howard County. The new 7000-square-foot restaurant, located across from Merriweather Post Pavilion, has been updated with indoor and outdoor dining, event spaces and a monthly all-inclusive expert-selected wine dinner offering.
The Fresh Market Grocery Store Under Construction
The exterior of The Fresh Market looks nearly complete in the Crofton Station shopping center. The facade redesign is done, and the store’s sign is now mounted. The company previously told the Baltimore Business Journal it plans to open by the end of 2024. Construction has been ongoing since at least September 2023.
