Some of the movies premiering at Mayfaire included “Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events” and “House of Flying Daggers.” Prices were as much as 50 cents to $1 more for adults, students, seniors, children and matinees compared to the Carmike Cinemas.

Mayfaire Cinemas is one of two multiplex theaters remaining in Wilmington. The other is The Pointe at Barclay.
